A Year's Progression

exactly one year ago today, I took a very serious crash and suffered a fractured hip, pelvis, L5 in my back and tore up my ankle. I am incredibly lucky that I can still walk and also continue pursuing my dream in snowboarding. though this injury was a horrible time in my life, I became such a better athlete from it. i focused my life around getting stronger, in all ways possible. my dedication grew tremendously, and ever since, I have worked as hard as I can in all that I do, to be back on top! thanks to all the love and support to everyone who has believed in me, and helped me recover to pursue my dream!

Starting the Season off Right

It's been a week since I have officially been moved into my new winter home, Park City, Utah, and I am loving every bit of it.  Not only do I love this beautiful area, I love how my riding has been.  It took a couple days to adjust to my nervous and gain my confidence back, but I finally feel 100% confident on my snowboard again.  On top of that, Alpenfit, a new gym in Park City, is sponsoring me.  They are a crossfit, yoga, and rock climbing speciality gym, that will benefit me so much in my snowboard training.  I cannot wait to not only work as hard as I can on hill, but in the gym, and the kitchen, to bring home some wins this season!
