Successful Week of Training!

The past two weeks training in Oregon have been so amazing! It was such a wonderful feeling to be back riding my snowboard, feeling stronger than ever! I felt like I had never stopped snowboarding, which is positive feedback that all my hard work has paid off.  My body felt strong, my injury was pain free and I was able to do anything my mind would allow me too.
Coming off such a gnarly injury, I knew my snowboarding would be effected a lot by my mind, which was very true during camp.  There were many times where my mind was my biggest enemy and it was extremely difficult to face, especially during the larger features.  But with the help of US team riders and all my coaches, I believe that by the end of training, I had won the battle with my mind, and fought my fears!!
This camp was so beneficial, not only to make up for lost time on my snowboard, or gain as much knowledge and training of my sport as possible, but to remind myself not to let an injury create unnecessary fears; simply use that anxiety as determination to excel.

Just a few pictures I took from Mt. Hood, Oregon! Obviously so stoked to be snowboarding!
